"I am a 33 year old man who suffered from excessive sudation of the feet since the age of approximately 15 years. During the summer 2003 I'd heard on the radio about a solution for people who suffered from the same problem as me (hyperhidrosis) which led me to the private clinic of Doctor Benohanian.
I then started to use the salicylic gel of aluminum chloride supersaturated to 40% and quickly as I did not have expected result, he quickly put to me to the 55%. At this point in time, gradually during weeks that followed, I noted a reduction in sweat and bad smells. Towards the end of 2003, Doctor Benohanian spoke to me about the injections of botox since I had satisfactory results with the gel but not perfect ones. The experimental program enabled me to have injections to both feet. Following the injections, I ceased using the gel during two weeks to check the effectiveness of the botox, and unfortunately the problem of sudation of the feet returned as heavily as before using the gel. In spite of enormous amounts injected, we find ourselves in front of an acknowledgement of failure. So I started using the salicylic gel again, and slowly the beneficial effects returned, but a quasi daily application (4 times/week) was necessary during many months, even years. Patiently, continued using it, but at the beginning of 2006 I noticed that the sudation of the feet had decreased by almost 90% so I started to space the applications.
Since approximately 3 months, and even in spite of the summer heat, as by magic I noted that my feet almost did not need more gel. The frequency of the applications is now every 7 to 10 days and even by skipping sometimes, sudation never returns. I have the impression that within approximately 6 months, I will not need any more gel. I am very happy with the results and relieved to know that I can remove my shoes at anytime, anywhere, without fearing the odors. I am thrilled that I don't have to spray my shoes four, five and even six times per day. I am even happier with the fact of not suffering from the blisters inflicted by the excessive moistness, bringing me an important release.
